GENERAL FAQ:

  • I signed up for camp. Where do I mail my check?

    • Checks and money orders made out to “Scarlet Knight Wrestling Camps”.

    • PLEASE WRITE YOUR WRESTLER’S NAME AND CAMP ATTENDING (Plus school name for team campers!) ON THE CHECK/MONEY ORDER

    • Send checks or money orders and dietary forms along with registration to:

      • Scott Goodale, 7 Anchor Square, Toms River, NJ 08753.

    • Your cashed check is your confirmation!

    • The registration form is sent electronically. However, only full payment + waiver secures your spot for camp.

  • I signed up, but did not get a confirmation email. How do I know I am signed up?

    • If you hit submit, you are signed up. Your cashed check serves as your confirmation that we received your payment and secures your spot.

  • Where are the camps located?

    • Team Camp: Jersey Mike’s Arena (83 Rockafeller Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854), Check-ins will be at the Quads on Sunday, 6/28.

    • Youth/Technique Camp: Livingston Rec Center (62 Rd 3, Piscataway, NJ 08854)

  • What is the difference between youth and technique camps?

    • YOUTH CAMP: Designed for the youth competitors just starting in the sport. This is a fun and engaging environment where wrestlers focus on learning the fundamentals of wrestling.

    • TECHNIQUE CAMP: This program features in-depth technique sessions and competitive individual tournaments throughout the week, allowing athletes to apply their training in live situations.

    • Neither camp offers overnight; only TEAM CAMP does.

  • I need to complete and upload the parental waiver form. Do you know where I can download it?

    • The parental waiver is available to download on the registration page. Sign it, then upload it to the registration page.

  • If I did not pay by check beforehand, can I pay at the door?

    • Yes, you may pay at the door. If you haven’t paid via check during the registration process (mailed-in check), please ONLY BRING CASH OR MONEY ORDER TO CHECK IN.

  • What does the schedule look like for camp?

    • All three camps have a schedule available with times for each session. You can find these on the “Summer Camps” tab.

  • Will any gear be available for purchase at the camps?

    • Yes! We will have gear available for sale at camp each day. Each camper will receive a shirt at camp. Payments for gear sales can be made in cash or via Venmo.

TEAM CAMP:

  • I am an individual. Can I still come to team camp?

    • Absolutely! Individual wrestlers can sign up for the team camp; they will be placed on a team. Campers for the team camp must be older than 12 years old.

  • What time is my team checking in for camp?

    • The team camp check-in schedule will be posted the week before camp starts. Each team will be assigned a check-in time slot. It is expected that all teams will arrive and check in together.

  • How do key/meal swipe card deposits work?

    • Please bring 2 deposits with you to registration on the first day of TEAM CAMP

      • Key Deposit: $80, cash or check, will be returned upon key return.

      • Meal Swipe Card Deposit: $10, cash or check, will be returned when the key is returned.

      • Checks must be made out to “Scarlet Knight Wrestling Camps.”

        • Do NOT send with payment.

      • Once we receive your key/card back at the end of camp, you will get your deposit back.

  • My athlete wants to attend team camp, but has allergies or dietary restrictions, what do I do?

    • If your athlete has any dietary restrictions, there is a form available for download on the registration page. Please upload this form completed with registration.

    • This is only nessisary for team camp. We do not provide any food for the youth or technique camps.

  • What is the King/Queen of the Banks?

    • During camp, we will place every wrestler into a bracket or pool to gain real match experience. The winner of each bracket or pool will be crowned King or Queen of the Banks!

  • Do I have to stay overnight for Team Camp?

    • No, you can sign up as a commuter. As a commuter for camp, you will still be offered lunch and dinner!
